Ingredients
Harpoon IPA BBQ Sauce:
2 cups Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce
8 oz. Harpoon IPA
¼ cups fresh orange juice
Bacon Cheddar Burger:
- 4 6-oz. ground beef patties
- 4 brioche burger rolls
- 4 pieces green leaf lettuce
- 4 slices beefsteak tomato
- 4 slices Vermont sharp cheddar
- 8 strips Applewood smoked bacon, cooked
- 8 oz. Harpoon IPA BBQ Sauce
- Kosher salt and ground black pepper
Directions
Harpoon IPA BBQ Sauce:
- In a stainless steel bowl, mix together the Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce, the Harpoon IPA and the fresh orange juice.
- Reserve and refrigerate for up to 3 days. This creates 2 ½ cups of sauce.
Bacon Cheddar Burger:
- Prepare a gas or charcoal grill, season burgers with salt and pepper and place on grill. Cook to desired temperature.
- When ready, top burger with BBQ sauce, bacon and cheddar cheese, and melt cheese.
- Place bottom piece of roll on plate. Top with lettuce and tomato.
- Place burger patty on top of tomato.
- Place top half of roll on burger.
- Serve and enjoy with your choice of side.
